Nighthawk to release remake of Disney’s Aladdin and Lion King games this fall
Nighthawk Interactive will release a game this fall that will include remakes of the Lion King game on the SNES and Aladdin for the Sega Genesis and Gameboy. The timing is in line with the remakes of the movies hitting theaters this year.
It’s about gameplay of the games that belonged to the movies in the 1990s, but rendered in full HD resolution and with modified controls to make them more playable for a young audience, Nighthawk says. For example, players can go back fifteen seconds and get unlimited lives to complete the game, things that were not there in the 1990s.
The game also includes bonus material, including versions of the songs from the movies and a virtual museum with material about the development of the games. The game is out on Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. The game will be released this fall. It will cost $30, but a euro price has not yet been announced. On Wednesday, a rumor came out that the game was coming.
