The fourth major game in the Dragon Age series will be subtitled Dreadwolf. EA and BioWare will announce that on Thursday. The two companies are not sharing any further information and no release date has been announced yet.

BioWare mentions Dragon Age: Dreadwolf to Solas, a character from the earlier titles. This elven mage becomes the antagonist in the fourth Dragon Age game. BioWare already hinted at that in 2018, when the company a The Dread Wolf Rises teaser showed during the Game Awards. The developer will also show the logo of the upcoming game on Thursday, but will not share further details. EA and BioWare say they will come later this year with more information about the game.

EA and BioWare already announced in 2018 that they were working on a fourth Dragon Age title. However, little new information about the game has been released since then. In 2020 a teaser appeared, in which Solas also played a part. In February, BioWare reported that the new Dragon Age title is out of concept and in production.

It is not known when the game will be released, although BioWare does write that the game will not be released this year. GamesBeat journalist and insider Jeff Grubb wrote in February that the game is still “at least eighteen months‘ is delayed.
