New Xbox Elite Wireless Controller supports Bluetooth and costs $180

Microsoft has announced a new version of its Elite wireless controller for Xbox. The company claims to have “rebuilt from the ground up” the controller and it supports Bluetooth and USB-C.

Microsoft claims to have focused on performance, durability and adaptability when building the new Elite controller. Among the 30 new features over the previous wireless Elite are new adjustable thumbsticks, new trigger grips and redesigned bumpers.

Users can also use three profiles for different games and there are shorter hair trigger locks. The controller connects via bluetooth and has a USB-C port. The internal battery has a detachable charging dock and could provide the controller with energy for up to forty hours. The Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 will be released in November for $180.
