New World Update Adds Latest Story Content and Blunderbuss Weapon

Amazon Games has released a major update for mmo game New World. This patch adds new quests, among other things, that conclude the main story. The game also gets a new weapon and several other adjustments.

Amazon introduces this new content in the Heart of Madness update. The New World storyline concludes with a new quest: The Heart of the Tempest. Part of the final quests is a Tempest’s Heart expedition, in which players will face the antagonist of New World. This expedition is for five people and is recommended for players with a character level 60 and a gear score between 550 and 570.

In addition, Amazon Games introduces the Blunderbuss, a new firearm intended for short to medium range. The Blunderbuss scales with strength and intelligence abilities, making it suitable for bruiser or mage builds. The new weapon features two mastery trees. One is focused on close-range combat and the other is for dealing area-of-effect damage.

The new update brings several other improvements. The storage bonus of chests has been doubled and players can now move free items between their storage in different territories. New unique enemies have also been added and each territory gets two collectible paintings. Amazon also talks about a large number of bug fixes and updates, for example for the AI ​​of enemies and the interface.
