New Windows 10-build offers improvements for Sets and wireless projection
Microsoft has released Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17682. The update brings improvements to the Sets functionality for bundling apps and projecting the image on an external screen.
For wireless projection via Miracast there is now a window bar, just like with remote desktop, which shows that a user is projecting. This contains a button for breaking the connection and there are three choices for optimizing the latency: game, productivity and video. Microsoft promises to add more functions to the bar in the near future.
The Edge browser since build version supports 17682 WebAuthN or the Web Authentication api. This enables authentication for web services via Windows Hello biometric login methods and FIDO2 hardware keys . Finally, after implementing the update, users get a screen that offers services such as Hello, Link your Phone, Timeline. Office 365 and OneDrive. Users can skip this.
The functions are part of the Redstone 5 update that Microsoft is working on and will be distributed to Windows 10 users in September. .
