New Trackmania game gets paid subscriptions in addition to free version

The Trackmania Nations remake, which will be released on July 1, will receive two paid subscriptions. For 10 euros per year, players get access to, among other things, the track editor. A subscription of 30 euros per year gives access to clubs and more events.

There will be three versions of Trackmania: Starter Access, Standard Access and Club Access. The former is the free version, where players can race solo or in multiplayer in 25-track campaigns that are refreshed every quarter. Creations of other players are also playable via Arcade Channel. Players who do not pay can, according to Ubisoft, ‘try’ the different editors for tracks, replays and skins.

In addition to the content of the free version, Standard Access offers a Track of the Day selection and full access to track and replay editors, as well as access to map review servers. Also, paying players can participate in daily competitions and keep all Track of the Day tracks and the tracks that are available on a rotating basis in the campaign.

Club Access is the most expensive subscription and allows players to join a virtual club or create their own. That includes access to special content and activities. You can only adjust skins with this subscription. The subscription is also required to participate in the Open Grand League, which is hosted by developer Ubisoft Nadeo. This allows players to qualify for the Trackmania Grand League.

Trackmania comes out on July 1. It concerns the remake of Trackmania Nations, which was announced at the beginning of this year. The release date was initially set for May 5, but that has been postponed. The game and subscriptions will be available through the Epic Games Store and Uplay.
