New Titanfall has been confirmed and will be ‘multiplatform’
The successor to Titanfall is coming to multiple platforms, probably also the PlayStation 4. The CEO of Respawn, the developer of the game series, confirms this. The first part of Titanfall was only released for Windows, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Rumors about Titanfall’s successor have been circulating for some time, but Respawn CEO Vinze Zampella has confirmed to IGN for the first time that the game is in the works. “There is no official title yet, but we are working on it,” Zampella told the games site. Earlier, publisher Electronic Arts hinted at a successor to Titanfall.
Zampella also states in the interview with IGN that the new shooter will be multiplatform. Although the first already was – it came out for Windows, the Xbox One and the 360 - IGN concludes that the new member will also be released for the PlayStation 4. The rumor that the new Titanfall will not only be released on Microsoft platforms has been circulating for some time.
