New Saints Row game coming on February 25, 2022

Developer Deep Silver Volition has unveiled a new Saints Row game. The game features completely new characters and is set in a fictional and colorful American city: Santo Ileso. The game will be released on February 25, 2022 for consoles and PC.

The newest part will be titled Saints Row, although the slogan self made is also shown in the promotional material. The makers promise blockbuster action and an original story, featuring ‘the birth of the Saints’. The story is full of crime, extraordinary scenes and signature surprises laced with humor, according to the developers’ description.

The game will feature many weapons ranging from pistols and rifles to rocket launchers and heavy handguns. The makers also promise exotic weapons that can be customized. The game will have a co-op mode with drop-in and drop-out functionality. So players can start or end a co-op session at any time and continue playing alone.

The game was announced during gamescom opening night with a lengthy cinematic trailer and a short teaser of gameplay. The game is coming to current and previous generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and the PC version will appear on the Epic Games Store. There will also be expansions for the game later on; is evidenced by the availability of an Expansion Pass.
