New renders give more details Google Pixel 6 with flat 6.4 “screen
New renders of the upcoming Google Pixel 6 have surfaced, giving more insight into the appearance and some of the specs of the Pixel 6. The phone will feature a 6.4-inch display with flat edges and support for wireless charging.
The images come from the notorious leak Steve Hemmerstoffer from OnLeaks and show cad renders of what the upcoming Pixel should look like. On Thursday, the same source already published images of the Pixel 6 Pro. These images follow previously shown renders by YouTuber Jon Prosser, which were created from photos he was shown. The new images confirm the design.
Unlike its bigger brother the Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 6 has two cameras on a protruding camera island that spans the entire width of the phone. The phone has a ratio of 158.6mm by 74.8mm and is 8.9mm thick with a 6.4″ display with flat edges. This is in contrast to the Pixel Pro 6, which has a 6.7″ display with has curved edges. The part of the camera island is 11.8 mm thick with the Pixel 6.
91Mobiles, which first showed the images from OnLeaks, reports that the Pixel also has a central punchhole camera in the screen, an in-display fingerprint scanner, wireless charging and two downward-firing speakers on the bottom for stereo sound. It was previously announced that the new Pixel phones will probably get a soc developed by Google.
