New Mass Effect Game Gets Online Multiplayer Component

The next installment in the Mass Effect series will have an online multiplayer component. That can be concluded from tweets from senior development director Chris Wynn in which he indicates that Bioware is looking for a producer for such a part.

There were already rumors that ‘Mass Effect 4’ would get an online multiplayer option, but that now seems certain after a two tweets by Chris Wynn in which he refers to a vacancy. Publisher EA is looking for an online producer.

It is still unclear what the online multiplayer environment in the next part will look like; Wynn hasn’t released anything about that yet. He does indicate that there is a lot of demand for such a possibility among Mass Effect players.

The fourth installment of a Mass Effect game was announced way back in 2012. Few details are known yet, but the return of the all-terrain vehicle Mako is almost certain.
