New laptop concept includes tilting screen and display base with parts

Taiwanese manufacturer Compal Veneno has shown off a new design of a gaming laptop. The laptop has a tiltable screen and a display base with PC components. This is a concept for which no production plans have yet been made.

The laptop concept won a design prize at the IF Design Award 2023. You can read this on the organizer’s website that certain parts of the laptop should be easier to replace thanks to the design. The design would also allow to reduce heat development inside the device. Compal Veneno therefore also provided the display base of the concept with several ventilation holes.

Because the laptop’s screen is slightly higher than a traditional laptop, a user can work more ergonomics. Since the components are located on the back of the display, the device’s keyboard should also always feel cool to the touch.
