New laptop concept includes tilting screen and display base with components

Taiwanese manufacturer Compal Veneno has unveiled a new gaming laptop design. The laptop has a tilting screen and a display stand with PC parts. This is a concept for which no production plans have yet been made.

The concept of the laptop won a design prize at the IF Design Award 2023. It is stated on the organizer’s website that certain parts of the laptop should be easier to replace by design. The design would also make it possible to reduce heat generation inside the device. Compal Veneno therefore also provided the display base of the concept with some ventilation holes.

Because the screen of the laptop is slightly higher than with a traditional laptop, a user could work more ergonomically. Since the components are located on the back of the display, the device’s keyboard should also always feel cool.
