‘New Intel-NUC Wall Street Canyon gets 28W Alder Lake-P-series CPUs’
Rumor has it that Intel will soon release a new NUC equipped with the Alder Lake-P series. The 28W processors are often used for laptops and it seems that Intel itself is going to use them for its mini PC.
The first images of what may be Intel’s new mini desktop, appeared on the Chinese website Chishell. Under the working title Wall Street Canyon, Intel is said to be working on a new mini-desktop. The PCs will be equipped with Alder Lake P-series processors. According to Chiphell, these are the Intel Core i7-1270P, Intel Core i7-1260P, Intel Core i5-1250P, Intel Core i5-1240P and Intel Core i3-1220P.
On the front, the ‘Wall Street Canyon’ has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-a ports and a 3.5mm audio jack. On the back we find two Thunderbolt 4 ports, an Ethernet port, two HDMI ports, a USB 3.2 and 2.0 Type-A port.
Inside the housing there is room for a 2.5″ SSD or HDD and for a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 NVMe SSD. The mini computer also supports two slots for DDR4-3200 ram. The NUC is also said to have WiFi. -6 and Bluetooth 5.2.
It’s not Intel’s first mini desktop with an Alder Lake processor. The manufacturer announced the NUC 12 Extreme in February under the name Dragon Canyon. This mini desktop starts at 1632 euros, but the price for the Wall Street Canyon is expected to be a lot lower.
