Images have surfaced online of what is believed to be Google’s Pixel Slate tablet. The tablet seems to run on Chrome OS and to have the option to connect a keyboard. Some images have also been released earlier.

The images in question were put online by Mysmartprice, which showed renders of the tablet showing, among other things, the interface, and a detailed picture of the associated keyboard. The website also reports that the screen has a 3:2 ratio and can be operated not only via touch, but also via a capacitive stylus. The images also show the USB-C port mentioned in previous rumors, and there are also stereo speakers on the front. A headphone jack seems to be missing.

Last month, images of a Pixel tablet also came out, which included the whole with the keyboard. In previous rumors, information has already come out about the device, which is known under the code name Nocturne. As a result, details about, among other things, the fingerprint scanner had already been leaked.

Google is likely to announce the device on October 9, when it holds an event likely to also announce the Pixel 3 series. A lot of information has already come out about the new smartphones; recently it emerged that a store in Hong Kong was already selling the unreleased Pixel 3 XL. Engadget posted a hands-on with the device online. The Google Home Hub is also expected during the event on October 9.
