New 64-player Pac-Man multiplayer game appears on Google Stadia
Bandai Namco is making a new Pac-Man game and it will be released on Google Stadia on November 17. It is a timed exclusive. A demo of Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle can be played temporarily from Tuesday. It’s a battleroy-like game.
Playing Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle involves 64 players. Each player has their own maze, but it is possible to enter another player’s maze. The goal is to stay alive as long as possible in order to end up as the only player.
Bandai Namco will release Pac-Man Mega Tunnel Battle on November 17 and the game will cost 20 euros on Stadia. Immediately a free demo can be played for all Stadia users. It is necessary to create an account, but no payment method is required. The demo can be played until October 27.
Google will be releasing more demos via Stadia in the coming days. A demo of Humankind will be available from Wednesday and a demo of Immortals Fenyx Rising will follow on Thursday. All demos would be on the platform for a week.
It is the first time that Google is making demos on Stadia available. It was already possible to try the service through the Stadia Pro free trial period, but users had to provide a valid payment method. This is not necessary with the current demos.
