NetherRealm Shows Bloody Mortal Kombat 11 Gameplay Footage
NetherRealm Studios showed a trailer with the first gameplay footage of Mortal Kombat 11 on Thursday. The video shows that the game again contains the necessary amount of blood and horrific scenes.
The reveal trailer for the 11th installment of Mortal Kombat features well-known characters such as Baraka, Skarlet, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Kung Lao and Sonya Blade, voiced by fighter Ronda Rousey. In addition, there is fresh blood in the form of Geras, who seems to be able to make bars appear from the ground and stop opponents with an invisible force. Among other things, the game will have the option to customize characters and there will be Fatal Blow actions, in addition to the Fatalities.
The most striking thing about the trailer is the horror of the Fatalities in particular. The series has been known for this from the start, such as Sub-Zero’s ability to manually remove his opponent’s spine. Mortal Kombat X from 2015 also had the necessary explicit images.
NetherRealm Studios announced Mortal Kombat 11 December 7. The game will be released April 23 for Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Starting March 28, there will be a closed beta for Xbox One and PS4 owners.
