Netflix will launch an anime series on its platform on March 25, which is based on the game Dota 2. It is about the series called Dota: Dragon’s Blood in which the hero Davion is central. Netflix has already released a short teaser for the series.

Dota: Dragon’s Blood consists of eight episodes. Netflix says the series will tell the story of Davion, a well-known Dragon Knight who has dedicated himself to eradicating the evil forces. Among other things, a fight with a powerful eldwurm is mentioned; this is a race of dragons in the dota 2 world.

Furthermore, Princess Mirana will play a role in the story. She is on her own secret mission. Mirana is a playable hero in Dota 2, a fighter who attacks opponents from a distance, including an arrow that traps opponents. Davion is also a hero from Dota 2, who armed with a sword and shield wants to get close to opponents and can turn into a dragon with his ultimate ability.

The animations for the series are made by Studio MIR, which previously produced The Legend of Korra and the Netflix-posted Voltron: Legendary Defender. The showrunner for Dragon’s Blood is Ashley Edward Miller, a producer and writer who previously worked on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, X-Men: First Class, and Thor.
