Netflix now shows which ten films and series are the most popular on its platform. The video service shows films and series individually with a logo that they are in a top ten and the company displays the entire top ten.

Netflix lists the top ten in the viewer’s country. It concerns the general most popular films and series. Netflix does not indicate the ten most popular videos per category. Series and movies on the list get a special badge.

According to Netflix, the lists receive daily updates. The top ten lists come in addition to the existing ‘Popular’ and ‘Trending’ categories, which are already part of the interface. The service has been testing the feature for six months in Mexico and the United Kingdom. Subscribers there turned out to find them helpful, so that the broad roll-out is now following.
