Netflix is ​​experimenting with a Twitter button for sending reminders

Netflix seems to have started an experiment to place a reminder button with tweets. In this way, followers can receive a reminder when, for example, new episodes of a series appear on the streaming service.

Twitter users who click the button send a tweet praising the series on Netflix. In addition, from then on they will receive a tweet if, for example, a new episode appears. That message will contain a link to the new episode.

For now, it seems to be a test of Netflix. That company seems to be experimenting with custom cards from Twitter in combination with the new Fabric SDK for monitoring tweets, claims The Next Web. It is not yet clear whether the option will be rolled out further.
