Netflix app gets next episode auto-download feature

Netflix is ​​introducing the Smart Downloads feature for its Android app. Allows the app to automatically delete episodes of a series that the user has watched and download the next one.

For example, if a user puts the first three episodes of a series on their device and has watched episode one, Smart Downloads, if activated, will automatically delete them and download episode four, Netflix gives as an example.

The function is only enabled if the user is connected via WiFi. Those who want to watch episodes more often will have to turn off Smart Downloads in the Downloads section of the app settings to manage videos manually.

Netflix introduced the Downloads option in 2016 to allow mobile users to watch videos on the go, even if they have a moderate or no connection or do not want to use mobile data.

Users get the Smart Downloads feature after updating their Netflix app on their Android device.
