The large gaming forum NeoGAF has been unavailable since last weekend. The site went offline after the site owner was accused of sexual harassment and several moderators turned their backs on NeoGAF.

Last week allegations of sexual harassment by a ‘semi-famous person in the video game industry’ appeared on Facebook, after which internet users pointed the finger at ‘Evilore’. This happened on NeoGAF, the forum for gamers of which Evilore is the founder.

The messages containing the allegations were deleted and users who posted these were banned. Several moderators decided to close the site leave. According to users of the site, it was not the first time that Evilore had been accused of sexual harassment.

On Sunday, NeoGAF went offline. It is not clear whether administrators have taken the forum offline or whether the site is under fire from a DDOs attack. According to USGamer, NeoGAF is preparing a statement, but it is not yet available online at the time of writing. In particular, NeoGAF gained notoriety from game studio insiders, who anonymously announced regular news about upcoming games.
