Naughty Dog releases Uncharted 3 DLC and promises more

Development studio Naughty Dog has revealed the contents of a number of downloadable content packs for Uncharted 3. The studio is now working on even more downloadable content, according to a released screenshot.

The map pack, which was already hinted at by Sony Computer Entertainment after the release of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, has been available for download from the American PlayStation Store since Tuesday. That made Sony known via the US PlayStation Blog.

Initially, the European PlayStation Blog also reported the DLC, but the blog post was removed there. Nevertheless, the dlc will also appear in the European PlayStation Store this week. Naughty Dogs’ community strategist Eric Monacelli announced this in the comments below the American blog post.

The downloadable content pack adds four maps to Uncharted 3. The maps are already known from the multiplayer mode of Uncharted 2, and have been edited for the third part of the franchise. Naughty Dog has, among other things, adjusted the lighting effects and weather effects and raised them to the level of Uncharted 3. Members of the Fortune Hunter Club get the dlc for free. Other gamers will have to pay $9.99 for the maps. The price in euros has not yet been announced.

In addition to the map pack, three packs with character skins for the multiplayer mode will also be put online. In addition, Naughty Dog released a screenshot of an upcoming DLC ​​pack. The screenshot shows villain Lazarević with a Janus head in his hands.
