NASA has released a new image captured by the James Web telescope. The photo shows the Tarantula Nebula. The new images of the nebula show thousands of stars that have not been seen before.

NASA publishes new photo of James Webb on his website and has also made the image available as Download in high resolution. The image shows the Tarantula Nebula, located 161,000 light-years from Earth in the Large Magellanic Cloud galaxy. This galaxy is of interest to researchers because the stars are relatively easy to see from Earth. In addition, the galaxy contains many relatively young stars.

By imaging as yet undiscovered, young stars, researchers hope to learn more about how stars develop. The Tarantula Nebula has been captured before, but through the James Web Telescope’s NIRCam, NASA can now see through the nebula and see more stars.

Last July, NASA released the first images from the James Webb telescope. Since then, NASA has already shared several images that Webb has taken. Just last month, NASA showed two composite images of Jupiter.
