Nacon postpones release of Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown until 2023

Game publisher Nacon postpones Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown until 2023. Developer KT Racing needs more time to finish the racing game. The game was originally supposed to be released this year.

KT Racing is planning on to start closed beta testing soon. It is not clear when the game should be released in 2023; Nacon has not announced a new release date. Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown should be the third installment in the series.

In addition, the game is no longer coming to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The developer wants to “take full advantage of the technology of the latest generation of consoles” and support for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One would not fit in well. It is not clear whether the game will come to the Nintendo Switch, which was previously announced.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown will take place on Hong Kong Island. KT Racing wants to recreate the island on a scale of 1:1. According to the developer, this means creating more than 550km of virtual roads.
