Nacon postpones four games, including Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
Publisher Nacon has postponed four games, including Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. This game will now be released in May next year, instead of February as previously communicated. Blood Bowl 3, Train Life and Hotel Life have also been postponed.
The story-driven RPG has been postponed to ensure the quality of the game “while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.” writes the developer on Twitter. The company wants to use the time to ‘polish the game extra’ and to be able to perform quality assurance. In July, Swansong was already postponed to February 2022; initially the game should have been released this year.
The games Blood Bowl 3, Train Life and Hotel Life have also been postponed to Nacon’s next fiscal year, the publisher reports. That means the games will be released between April 2022 and September 2023. In an email, the publisher writes that it wants to release Blood Bowl 3 ‘later in 2022’. This game was originally supposed to be released in February next year. Train Life: A Railway Simulator is now available in Early Access; the complete version will be released in June. Finally, Hotel Life: A Resort Simulator is expected to be released at the end of Q2 2022. These games have been postponed so that the developers can improve the quality of the games, which Nacon hopes will increase their sales.
