Nacon: launch of RoboCop: Rogue City is our best yet
According to publisher Nacon, the release of RoboCop: Rogue City is the best launch of a game in Nacon’s history. In the first two weeks, 435,000 players played the game and started the game 2.7 million times.
The publisher does not report which game previously had the best launch. The company has been around since 1981 and was previously called Bigben Interactive, and in recent years has released or co-released WRC games, Tour de France games and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
Nacon released RoboCop: Rogue City in early November, after the game was delayed several times. The action game was developed by Teyon and is set in Detroit. The game’s story is based on the first three RoboCop films. The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
