Google Play All Access, the music streaming service that Google launched in the United States, is expected to get an iOS application within a month. In doing so, Google increases the potential reach of its Spotify counterpart.

The arrival of All Access to iOS was announced at the D11 meeting on Thursday worldwide created by Android director Sundar Pichai. According to Pinchai, Google strives for the widest possible access to its streaming music service, making an iOS application more or less a matter of course.

It has been known for some time that the All Access music streaming service will be available on Android devices in the US, while music can also be played via the browser. However, Google has been silent on an iOS app so far.

The Google Music All Access service costs $10 per month. With this, Google has entered direct competition with services such as Spotify, Rdio and Deezer. Whether and when the service will be available in Europe is still unknown.
