MSI has posted a teaser online for the Vortex G25VR, a new, compact desktop PC that will be introduced by the company at Computex next week. The manufacturer wants to bring vr and 4k gaming to the living room with the system.

The Vortex G25VR has a volume of 2.59 liters and a thickness of 4 cm. The system contains two fans and eight heat pipes to keep the hardware at the right temperature. The image accompanying the unveiling shows a narrow, upright system with a red line in the middle and two USB 3.0 ports and audio connectors on the side. The system is easy to screw open to, for example, change the hard disk or SSD, MSI reports on its Taiwanese site.

MSI does not provide further specifications yet, but the company speaks of use for smart home applications and support for VR and 4k gaming. It is not clear to what extent the claim of 4k gaming can be realized, but for VR applications there is probably at least a GTX 1060, assuming that MSI does not build in an older card that meets, for example, the system requirements of Oculus.

Next week, MSI will announce more about the Vortex G25VR. Then the Computex electronics fair in Taiwan will take place.
