MSI introduces gaming laptop with two GTX 1070 GPUs in slim
MSI has introduced several new gaming laptops at the Computex trade show. The most powerful is the GT75VR, which supports two GTX 1070 GPUs in SLI. In addition, MSI comes with a thin variant that is equipped with an Nvidia Max Q card.
In addition to the option for two GTX 1070 copies in sli, the GT75VR can also be used for a single GTX 1080 or 1070 GPU. In addition, the gaming laptop has an overclockable Core i7-7820HK processor from Intel on board and the device has a 17.3″ screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen supports display of HDR. The keyboard is an RGB one. variant with per-key adjustable backlights.
The thin laptop is known under the designation GS63VR Stealth Pro and has a thickness of 17.7 mm and a weight of 1.9 kg. Despite that, the device is equipped with a GTX 1070 GPU, which is a Max-Q model, which Nvidia introduced at the fair. According to MSI, the laptop should remain relatively quiet under load.
The laptop also has a 15.6 “screen on board. It is a 120Hz/3ms TN panel with full HD resolution that is also capable of HDR playback. There will also be a version with FHD ips panel with a refresh rate of 60Hz and a variant with 4k display.
MSI does not say anything about the further specifications yet and only mentions that the laptop can display Hi-Res Audio. The laptop is also presented in a 17.3″ version, which bears the name GS73VR and also has a GTX 1070 on board. The specifications are not yet known.
Finally, the manufacturer is introducing two GE laptops in the Raider line, which were initially known as Apache Pro. It concerns the GE63VR and the GE73VR with 15.6 “and 17” screen respectively and an Intel Core i7-7700HQ CPU. Here too, a GTX 1070 GPU is present and the screen properties are also the same as the GS models. Prices have not yet been announced by MSI.
