MSI comes with Mag Forge 100M case with included RGB fans
MSI introduced its Mag Forge 100M case this week. It is a mid-tower and comes with three fans, two of which contain RGB LEDs. At the time of writing, the case is in the Pricewatch for about 60 euros.
The Mag Forge 100M is 421mm deep, 499mm high and 210mm wide. Users can place atx, micro-atx and mini-itx motherboards in the case. The case comes with a tempered glass side panel, although it doesn’t reach the full height. The whole weighs 5.64 kilograms. The front contains two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports with transfer speeds of up to 5Gbit/s. It also offers standard audio connections in the form of two 3.5mm jacks: one for input and one for output. Furthermore, the housing offers space for video cards up to 330mm long, 160mm high CPU coolers and 200mm power supplies. The Mag Forge 100M can hold up to two 3.5″ HDDs and three 2.5″ drives.
The front of the case is largely made of mesh and offers space for three 120mm fans, two of which are included as standard. Those supplied fans contain RGB LEDs, which can be controlled with the supplied RGB hub. Users can also choose to mount up to two 140mm fans on the front. At the back fits a single 120mm fan, which is included as standard, although it does not contain any RGB LEDs. The top has room for two 120mm or 140mm fans.
In addition to the Forge 100M, MSI also sells a Mag Forge 100R and 101M. These housings are broadly similar, although the 100R includes two fans with addressable RGB LEDs, and the 101M comes standard with three fans on the front. The 100M is currently in the Pricewatch for around 60 euros. The 100R costs about 10 euros more. The suggested retail prices of the 101M are not yet known at the time of writing.
