MSI CEO Sheng-Chang Chiang has died aged 56

MSI CEO Sheng-Chang Chiang has died. He had been with MSI since 2001, starting as vice president of the research and development division. In January 2019, he became CEO of the company. Sheng-Chang Chiang has turned 56 years old.

Sheng-Chang Chiang’s death was reported by Taiwanese website ET Today. An MSI spokesperson confirmed the news to Tom’s Hardware. The Taiwanese press reports that Chiang fell from a building, causing him to suffer a head injury. The circumstances surrounding the fall are still being investigated by police. Chiang was taken to a hospital after the fall, but died there.

Sheng-Chang Chiang joined MSI in July 2001. He then served as vice president of the company’s research and development division. Before becoming CEO in 2019, Chiang was a board member of MSI. He has also worked as the head of the desktop computing branch. He is credited with the growth of MSI’s computer hardware division.
