MSI announces standard for RGB lighting
MSI has announced the Mystic Light standard for RGB lighting in computer cases. Parts equipped with RGB lighting can be connected to a connector on certain motherboards and controlled with the computer or a smartphone app.
That app already provided support for adjusting the lighting in the X99A Godlike Gaming motherboards. There are several devices that support the feature, such as mice, keyboards, case fans, ram, and motherboards equipped with LED lights.
According to MSI, RGB strips can be connected to motherboards that have a specific header for this. The company itself refers to the X99A Godlike Gaming motherboard, which is available in the Pricewatch from about 500 euros.
Mystic Light can be controlled from the MSI Gaming App for Windows PCs or a mobile app for Android or iOS.
