MSI Announces GF63 Narrow Bezel Gaming Laptop with GTX 1050 Ti

MSI is going to release the GF63, a laptop for gamers, which has narrow screen edges. The laptop gets an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti. MSI is also releasing a new business laptop with thin bezels.

The screen edge of the GF63 is 4.9mm wide. The 15.6″ screen is an IPS panel with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. MSI is releasing two variants: one with GTX 1050 and one with GTX 1050 Ti, both with 4GB gddr5.

The laptop comes in configurations with up to Core i7 processors from Intel’s latest generation. The thickness is 21.7 mm and the weight of the laptop is 1.86 kilograms. The cover of the screen and a surface around the keyboard is coated with the appearance of brushed aluminum.

The GF63 isn’t MSI’s first gaming laptop with thin bezels: the more comprehensive GS65 announced in April also has it, in combination with an optional 144Hz display. The prices of the configurations of the GF63 are not yet known.

MSI is also announcing the PS42 in its business Prestige series of laptops. It weighs 1.19 kilograms and has a thickness of 15.9 mm. MSI provides this model with an economical Core i7 in the U-series, a maximum of 16GB DDR4 and an Nvidia MX150 with 2GB GDDR5. The screen is a 14″ model with full HD resolution. The starting price of this laptop is not yet known.
