MSI announces Bravo laptops with Ryzen 5 4600H or Ryzen 7 4800H CPUs
MSI has announced new gaming laptops equipped with a third-generation 7nm AMD Ryzen CPU. It is a Ryzen 5 4600H or a Ryzen 7 4800H.
The new laptops can be seen as successors to the Alpha 15 laptop released last year, which came on the market with a second-generation Ryzen CPU. The Bravo 15 and 17 get 120Hz IPS screens with a 1080p resolution and screen diagonals of 15.6 and 17.3″. There is also support for FreeSync. The smaller model is the only model with an option for the Ryzen 5 4600H, while the Ryzen 7 4800H is available for both formats.
Like the Alpha 15 laptop, the new Bravo laptops get the RX 5500M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory as GPU. In terms of design, they are quite similar to the Alpha 15, although the Bravo 15 will be slightly thinner and a few hundred grams lighter.
The new laptops can already be pre-ordered in the United States, with the Bravo 15 with the Ryzen 5 starting at $929, while the Ryzen 7 variant starts at $999. The larger 17.3″ Bravo 17 will cost at least USD 1099. When the laptops will come to Europe exactly and for what prices is not yet known.
