Mozilla is pausing Firefox 82 distribution due to bugs

Mozilla has limited the distribution of Firefox 82 for desktops due to a number of bugs that have surfaced. Firefox 82 is the new stable version that became available to the general public last week.

The release has been throttled due to bugs with printing and third-party software causing crashes, Mozilla says. Specific settings can also cause crashes and users can suddenly be logged out of pages where they were logged in.

Firefox 82 came out last week, but the bugs came out after the release. Mozilla has not updated the release notes page and updating to the new version is still possible, but not recommended. A fix will probably follow, but it doesn’t seem to be out yet.
