Mozilla changes search function in Firefox
Mozilla makes changes to the search function in Firefox. The search bar will be able to quickly search multiple sites, while keywords for search queries will disappear from the browser.
The keyword search feature, where users can enter, for example, “pricewatch tablets” to search Pricewatch for tablets directly from the URL bar, will no longer work in the upcoming release, but will be updated in a future version, according to Mozilla designer Philipp Zackl. return at a later time. Users’ current keywords will continue to work.
In the new search function, as soon as the user types something in the search bar, the first results of the default search engine appear immediately, while below are buttons to search directly on other sites.
Mozilla remains unclear on when the changes will show up in Firefox; the developer keeps it as “coming soon”, but does not mention a planned date or version number.
