Mountain releases DisplayPad and MacroPad keyboards for content creators
Mountain has released its DisplayPad and MacroPad. These keypads are intended with streamers and content creators in mind and can be used in addition to a larger keyboard. Both keypads have twelve configurable keys.
The Mountain DisplayPad contains twelve customizable keys with color displays with a resolution of 104×104 pixels. It is possible to use a selection of included icons to indicate hotkeys, macros and other adjustable functions. However, users can also add their own images using .gif, .jpg, .png, and .bmp file formats. It is also possible to create folders for all shortcuts, macros and functions and to use different profiles.
This keypad can be mounted on an Everest company keyboard. It can also be placed on a stand that comes with the DisplayPad. Integrated functions are provided for a number of commonly used tools among streamers, such as Twitch, OBS Studio, DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro and Illustrator. The DisplayPad is available for 110 euros.
The Mountain Macro Path does not have display keys, but also has twelve adjustable mechanical keys. The MacroPad can also be added to Mountain’s Everest keyboards or used with the included stand. The keypad has a number of RGB modes to use, where separate color options can be set for each key.
In addition, the MacroPad includes a number of integrated controls for software programs often used by streamers and has the ability to create different profiles. Furthermore, the MacroPad uses the Mountain Tactile 55 mechanical switches, which can be exchanged for other 3-pin or 5-pin Cherry MX switches using an included tool. The MacroPad costs 60 euros. In any case, both devices are for sale at Mountain itself.
