Motorola One Action smartphone with ‘action camera’ appears for 259 euros

Lenovo has announced the Motorola One Action. The feature of the smartphone that the manufacturer emphasizes is the presence of a camera with a wide-angle lens and image stabilization to make videos.

Lenovo advertises the Motorola One Action as “action camera.” In fact, it is a module with three cameras. One has a 117-degree f/2.2 wide-angle lens and quad pixel technology. Four pixels are combined for a pixel size of 2 µm. According to the manufacturer, for example, users can film vertically and show the result in landscape mode on a larger screen. The main camera is a 12-megapixel model with f/1.8 lens. There is also a 5-megapixel depth sensor on the back. The front camera has a 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 lens and is integrated into the screen.

The Motorola One Action has a 6.3″ screen with IPS panel and 21:9 ratio. The resolution is 2520×1080 pixels. The processor is the Samsung Exynos 9609 octacore with a clock speed of 2.2GHz and Mali G72 GPU. The amount of RAM is 4GB and there is 128GB of storage that can be expanded with SD cards.

The smartphone has a battery with a capacity of 3500mAh and that amount would be sufficient for, for example, 11 consecutive hours of video watching, while the total standby time is 6.5 days. The company supplies the device with a 10W fast charger with USB-C connection.

The One Action also has a 3.5mm audio jack and FM radio. The phone is in the Android One program. The suggested retail price is 259 euros.
