Motorola Moto Z2 Force will be released in the Benelux at the end of this year for 849 euros
Motorola will release the Moto Z2 Force in the Benelux at the end of this year, parent company Lenovo said during the IFA electronics fair in Berlin. The device will cost 849 euros. At the same time as the smartphone, the Moto 360 camera module will be released. That accessory has a suggested retail price of 279 euros.
Lenovo announced the Moto Z2 Force in July, but at the time it was not yet known when the device would come to the Benelux and at what price. The device has a 5.5 “OLED screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. The smartphone runs on a Snapdragon 835-soc, has 4GB of ram and 64GB of storage. The spearhead of the Force version of the Moto Z smartphone is the sturdy screen. , which according to the makers is ‘crack-free’ due to a plastic layer, and the phone also has a sturdy housing made of aluminum 7000 alloy.
On the back is a dual 12-megapixel camera with f/2.0 lenses. The primary camera has a regular Bayer sensor to capture colors, the other sensor is monochrome. The Z2 Force has a 2730mAh battery and therefore a lower capacity than the Moto Z Force, which has a 3500mAh battery. The new device is thinner than its predecessor. The device does not have a 3.5mm jack for headphones.
The Moto 360 Camera has two cameras, each with a lens that has an angle of view of 150 degrees. That enables the module to create 360-degree videos. The 360-degree camera module can be connected via the Moto Mod system, which is also found on other smartphones from the Moto Z series.
