‘Motorola has announced a new 360-degree camera mod’

A photo has appeared showing a new Moto Mod. It is a 360-degree camera. This Mod would have been presented on June 20 during an event in the African country of Ghana.

At the African press event held in Ghana on June 20, Motorola is said to have announced not only the Moto Z, Moto C, Moto E and Moto G, but also a new Moto Mod. That writes Techdroider. Smartphone Insider Evan Blass has a photo of the Mod shown.

It is said to be a 360-degree camera with two lenses. More information about the specifications is not known. It is also unclear when the module will be available and how much the Mod will cost. Droid-life has asked Motorola for a response, but the smartphone company did not want to provide any further explanation.

The Moto Z series has a sixteen-pin connector on the back for Moto Mods. These are modules that enable new functionality. Until now, the Moto Z series has included a speaker, a beamer, a camera with xenon flash and optical zoom and a battery module. In early June, Lenovo subsidiary Motorola announced the new Moto GamePad, turning the smartphone into a gaming handheld.
