Mobvoi comes with a set of new wireless earbuds. Users can operate it by moving their head. Mobvoi sells the earphones on IndieGogo for 109 euros.

Mobvoi calls the ears the Earbuds Gesture. The company sells it through the crowdfunding platform IndieGogo, where 52,000 euros has already been raised while only 4,200 was needed. The ears are still in production and cost 109 euros. In the early sales phase, Mobvoi does offer them for 57 euros.

The Earbuds Gesture will receive support for Mobvoi’s proprietary TicMotion technology, which also includes functions such as motion sensors from other Mobvoi devices. Via TicMotion, users can operate the Earbuds Gesture by making head gestures. For example, if users shake their heads up and down or back and forth, they can take or reject calls. For the time being, these are the only gestures that Mobvoi mentions himself.

In addition, the ears also have a manual control. With it, users can pause or fast forward music. The ears work on bluetooth 5.0 and have support for both Siri and Google Assistant.

The Earbuds Gesture have a dual-mic noise cancellation that can filter out ambient noise. They have an ip5x rating, and the earbuds can be used independently, so users can use one while the other is charging. The battery of the earbuds lasts ten hours, and the box can charge them for at least fifty hours, according to Mobvoi.
