MMD releases Philips monitor with thin bezels
MMD has released a new screen under the Philips brand name. The 245C7QJSB is a 23.8″ model with a full-HD screen and an IPS panel. The monitor with thin bezels should be available this month.
The screen, which is part of the Moda series, has a brightness of 250cd/m². The model has a thickness of 5.2 mm and has screen edges that have a thickness of 2.5 mm on the sides and the top. Furthermore, the screen offers both vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 178 degrees and is capable of displaying 16.7 million colors.
The gray-to-gray response time is 5ms and the contrast ratio is 1000:1. By means of SmartContrast, the screen should be able to automatically color and adjust the LED backlight for increased contrast. The monitor has connections for VGA, Displayport 1.2 and HDMI. The suggested retail price of the screen amounts to 219 euros.
