MMD releases Philips monitor with color-changing base
MMD will launch a monitor with support for Ambiglow Plus at the beginning of November. The 27″ monitor in the Philips line has a foot that can change color. The user can set the color himself or have it adjusted automatically by the color representation on the screen.
According to MMD, the Ambiglow Plus foot of the Moda display contains its own processor that analyzes the incoming image and automatically adjusts the colors and brightness accordingly. In addition, users can switch the lamp in the base on or off themselves and choose the color, or set a timer to wake up in the morning with the glowing base, for example.
The Philips 275C5QHGSW/00 from MMD contains a 27″ IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The maximum brightness is 250cm/m2. The monitor is equipped with a VGA connection and HDMI and there is also support for MHL for the connection. at the beginning of November, the Moda monitor will be available for a suggested retail price of 389 euros.
