MMD releases 34″ Philips monitor with curved VA panel and USB-C docking
MMD releases the 346P1CRH with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and USB-C docking. For example, a laptop can be connected via a single cable for the image and power delivery up to 90W, but the monitor also has an Ethernet connection and USB-a ports for peripherals.
The Philips 346P1CRH features a VA panel with a curvature of 1500R, a contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a refresh rate of 100Hz. The peak brightness comes out at 500cd/m² and the screen has been awarded the DisplayHDR 400 label, with which the monitor has the specifications for the lowest HDR level according to the VESA standardization organization. The Philips monitor can display 90 percent of the dci-p3 color space and supports Adaptive-Sync.
Like previous Philips monitors, there is a webcam on the top suitable for Windows Hello login. The screen stands on a foot that is adjustable in height and there is a single displayport 1.4 connection and a single HDMI 2.0 port. The 346P1CRH will be on sale later this month and will have a suggested retail price of 589 euros.
