MMD releases 27″ Philips monitor with 10bit panel for 269 euros
MMD has released the Philips 272B8QJEB. It is a 27″ monitor with an IPS panel that has a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and provides 10bit display. The screen has an adjustable foot and can also be tilted ninety degrees.
With a suggested retail price of 269 euros, the Philips 272B8QJEB is one of the cheapest 27″ monitors with a 10bit panel. Currently only BenQ has a comparably priced model with approximately the same features. The IPS panel used has a refresh rate of 60Hz and a gray -to-gray response time of 5ms.
According to the manufacturer, the brightness is 250cd/m² and the contrast ratio is 1000:1. The screen is intended to display the sRGB color gamut. MMD has built-in speakers and gives the monitor an adjustable stand. The screen can be adjusted in height and can also be tilted, so that the monitor can be used in portrait position.
MMD provides the Philips 272B8QJEB with VGA, DVI, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI 1.4 inputs. There are also two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports on the housing. The monitor must be available immediately.
