MMD releases the 272B7QPTKEB: a business monitor with a 2-megapixel camera that slides in and out at the top. The display also includes thin bezels and support for daisy chaining for multi-monitor setups.

The retractable camera module also includes a microphone and an LED indicator light, which indicates whether the camera is in use. It is the first Philips monitor where MMD has incorporated the camera into the bezel in this way. The manufacturer promises to use the pop-up cam with more models, such as 24 “screens and models with UHD resolution.

The 272B7QPTKEB has an IPS panel with a screen diagonal of 27 inches and displays images at 2560×1440 pixels. The maximum screen brightness is 350cd/m2. The device has three USB 3.0 ports, one of which supports fast charging. VGA, HDMI 1.4, mini-displayport 1.2, and displayport 1.2 are available for receiving images. In addition, there is a display port-out for daisy chaining.

The screen will be available this month for a suggested retail price of 699 euros.
