Minisforum will show the Mercury EM780 mini PC at Computex 2023, which the PC builder says is its smallest PC yet. The computer has a casing with a capacity of a quarter liter and is powered by a Ryzen 7 7840U. No price or release date has been announced yet.

The Minisforum Mercury EM780 therefore contains the relevant Phoenix series APU, which is equipped with eight Zen 4 cores and a Radeon 780M GPU based on RNDA 3 architecture. The mini PC is supplied with power via a 65W USB-C connection. Instead of a usual large brick, the Mercury EM780 uses a relatively small square power adapter.

This means that one of the two USB4 ports is required. There are also three USB 3.2 ports and an HDMI connection. The storage space can also be expanded with a microSD card and there was room for a 3.5mm connection.

At the same fair, the company also showed the new variant within the Venus series, namely the Venus Series UM790 Pro, which was announced a few weeks ago. Minisforum therefore emphasizes the difference between the Mercury and Venus models; the former series focuses on a PC that is as compact as possible, while the UM790 Pro with an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS is focused on performance.
