Minisforum has released its first keyboard, the MKB i83. This is a mechanical keyboard that can be used with a USB-C cable or wirelessly via Bluetooth 5.0 or a USB dongle. The keyboard can now be ordered for 119 euros.

The Minisforum SME i83 is a fairly compact keyboard with a 75% design. There is support for both a wireless connection via an included dongle and via Bluetooth, whereby up to five devices can be connected simultaneously. The keyboard has a 3000mAh battery, which according to the brand can provide power for up to 300 hours, provided the RGB backlight is turned off.

The mechanical keys of the keyboard can be hotswapped. The keyboard comes standard with the linear Kailh MX Red switches. The MKB i83 has a size of 334x140x48mm and has an aluminum housing. The keyboard is available in three colors, namely black, blue and gold.

Minisforum now sells the MKB i83 for 119 euros, but warns that the keyboard must be delivered from Hong Kong, which takes 16 to 23 days. There will probably also be import costs. From the end of November, the product must also be delivered from a warehouse in Germany, which means the delivery time is 3 to 7 days and import costs do not apply to customers in the Benelux. The MKB i83 is the first keyboard from Minisforum; the company basically only sells mini PCs.
