Minisforum releases NAB6 mini PC that can power four 4K displays

Minisforum has released a mini PC with a twelfth generation Intel i7 processor inside. The Venus NAB6 supports four 4K screens and has two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which makes the device interesting as a small server, among other things.

The Venus NAB6 from Minisforum can be done as barebones can be purchased, but also with a maximum of 32GB of memory and a terabyte SSD. The device is particularly notable for its four video outputs. These are two HDMI ports and two USB-C ports that allow the device to drive four screens with a maximum resolution of 4K at 60fps. The device also has two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, which are located next to each other in the case.

The NAB6 also comes with an Alder Lake SoC, specifically the i7-12650H from Intel, which has ten cores and sixteen threads for a maximum clock speed of 4.7GHz. There is also a maximum of 64GB of DDR4 memory in the device and an M.2 2280 PCIe 4.0 SSD that can be expanded to a maximum of 2TB.

The mini PC also has four USB-C connections, one for data and another only for DisplayPort. There are also four USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports on the device. According to Minisforum, the device has active cooling via various fans and heat pipes. In addition, the company says that the NAB6 is made to be easy to repair and upgrade; for example, the top can be opened without a screwdriver. The device is for sale immediately and costs 539 euros.
