Minecraft update for PSVR headset use will be released on Tuesday
Minecraft will support the use of the PlayStation VR headset from Tuesday. Developer Mojang Studios recently announced that the PS4 version of Minecraft would get an update for this in September, but an exact release date was unknown until now.
The arrival of this free Minecraft update for the PlayStation 4 and Tuesday’s release are through Sony confirmed on his Twitter account. At first it was indicated that the release would take place on Monday, but that turned out to be wrong. Everyone on the PlayStation 4 will automatically receive this Minecraft update.
There are two modes in Minecraft on the PS4 in conjunction with the PSVR: Immersive and Living Room. The latter mode consists of a virtual living room with a large screen on which the game can be played, while Immersive means that as a player you can actually participate in the world from a first-person perspective.
Furthermore, players can set all kinds of things to tailor the VR experience to their wishes. According to Mojang Studios, the DualShock 4 controller in combination with the PSVR headset is used in the regular way to move and perform other actions.
